Sandra is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors and holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work degree. Over the past 25 years, she has provided individual and group counselling in healthcare, education, and community-based settings. She has specialized training in several evidence-based modalities including Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MiCBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Somatic Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
Sandra uses a trauma-informed approach, that is collaborative and responsive to each client’s unique needs. Brittany is a Social Worker who completed her Bachelor of Social work degree at the University of Victoria and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Social Work from Memorial University.
Prior to forging her path into work as a psychotherapist, Brittany spent 10 years working in healthcare and nonprofit settings. During that time, Brittany gained experience supporting people who are facing challenges related to grief and loss, life transitions, trauma recovery, OCD, challenging relationships, self-work/ self-esteem, and stress reduction. She has also provided emotional and practical support to victims or witnesses of crime and related trauma.
She is committed to cultivating a safe space for clients where, together, you can work towards navigating obstacles, identifying goals, and developing strategies for positive change related to mental health and wellness.
